Dr. Jacob Stueve is the newest physician of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Consultants, Chartered specializing in operative and non-operative treatment of the shoulder and elbow.

As a native of North Kansas City, Dr. Stueve graduated from the University of Missouri in 1998 with a degree in biology. Later that year, he completed his career as a tight end for the Mizzou football team earning recognition as a 1st Team Academic All-American. He continued his education earning his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Stueve completed his orthopaedic surgery residency in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Rothman Insitute. During his residency, he was awarded the Jerome M. Cotler & Philip J. Marone Award for excellence in leadership. He elected to remain at Thomas Jefferson University following residency to complete a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship. His training included all facets of shoulder and elbow surgery including arthroscopy, reconstructive, and joint replacement procedures.

Dr. Stueve is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and he welcomes new patients including workers' compensation patients.
